Design-Bid-Build
The project consisted of the design and building of a new 64,179 SF recreation and aquatic center, to include the site and civil construction work. The work was done is an urban setting on a very “tight” work site, i.e. 2.45 acres. FS360 performed as joint venture partner in all project phases, as well as directly executing the site development and civil scopes of work.
Performed all civil/site work related to the construction of the new MLK Recreation & Aquatic Center. The work includes all clearing, grubbing, demolition, grading work, erosion control, the installation of all utilities, inclusive of the storm water management facilities, domestic and fire water mains and sanitary sewer, inclusive of all connections to the City of Atlanta systems. FS360 also constructed all of the retainage walls necessary to facilitate the tight nature of the site. Near the end of the project, FS360 performed all finish grading and installing of the site’s concrete, curb & gutter and asphaltic paving.
